Entrance, pool and Level 2 gardens

Guests arrive past a ground-floor entrance garden of palms, red cordylines and agaves around a steel ring sculpture. Around the pool, cabanas sit among clipped hedging and curving garden walks, and on Level 2, corten planters and garden beds look out over the Surfers Paradise skyline. Planting like this is part of what the hotel sells, so it has to look finished every day.

QT Gold Coast has been with us since 2025. The same monthly schedule and the same crew keep the gardens at the hotel’s standard between visits.

Level 2 planters & gardens

Corten planters, succulents, feature palms and garden beds on Level 2 kept full, clean and healthy.

Palms & feature plants

Spent fronds and seed heads removed so palms around the entrance and pool stay clean and safe underneath.

Entrance & porte cochère

The arrival garden of palms, cordylines, agaves and bromeliads around the sculpture, presented for the first impression.

Tropical garden beds

Weeding, pruning and mulching of the tropical beds, groundcovers and clipped hedging around the pool and on Level 2.

Lawns

Mowing and edging of the lawns at the entrance and on Level 2, scheduled around guest use.

Garden walks

Curving sandstone paths through the pool gardens kept clear of growth and green waste so they stay safe to walk.

Maintaining gardens around a busy pool and hotel entrance is a safety question as much as a horticultural one. Our crews work to safe work method statements for the tasks involved, keep clippings and debris out of the pool, and leave paths clear as they go.
